Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Porto defender, Éder Militão, who will join the club in the summer.
The 21-year-old has impressed during his short time with Porto and will become the first signing of Zinedine Zidane’s second managerial reign at the Bernabeu.

It read: “Real Madrid CF and FC Porto have agreed the transfer of the player Éder Militão, who will be linked to the club during the next six seasons, until June 30, 2025.”
Militao had only joined Porto from Sao Paulo for €4m last summer but the fee to take him to Real Madrid is reportedly in the region of €50m.

Zidane promises change upon second Real appointment
Zidane left his post as Real Madrid manager last summer after guiding the club to three consecutive Champions League titles, as well as the 2016-17 La Liga crown.
However, with results at the club nosediving under Julen Lopetugui and, later, Santiago Solari, the Frenchman resumed his old post and has promised ‘change in every way’ for Los Blancos.

“Things will change, in every way, we have to change things for the years to come,” Zidane told a press conference at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“Now the important thing is that I am back, and there is time to talk and see what needs to be done. Right now, that’s not the issue, we have 11 games to play.”
Real Madrid host Celta Vigo on Saturday.
