Speaking to Inter TV, Samir Handanovic emphasizes the importance of not allowing any goal against Rapid Vienna.
“I am happy for the result above everything else. That is what counts. We also did not allow a goal so it is just one extra thing that pleases everyone. The save on Knasmullner? That’s what I’m here for although I hope that I do not have to make many saves in a game. But I do what I have to. This is another 1-0 victory because to me, defending well will start the attack and everyone’s work is important. Not allowing was very important. The captain’s armband? Every player is proud to be the captain of an important club but we must speak of Inter as a team and not about the individuals.”
