The game on Tuesday against PSV is not only for the last round of 16 of the Champions League. As pointed out by Tuttosport, there will be roughly between €15M to €20M on the line.
“Between qualifying to the group stage, historical ranking, results and market pool for the 2017-2018 season, the club of Steven Zhang has already collected about €41.8M. Adding to this figure will be another market pool share calculated in June based on the games played by the four Italian teams and also the gate receipts of home matches: Inter-Tottenham and Inter-Barcelona will give Inter €9.5M. So in fact, Inter can count on taking more than €50M but to this figure, another €20M is up for grabs.
“65 thousand tickets are already sold for PSV and with a victory, that would mean another €2.7M. And then if Barcelona manage to take care of business at home, plus an Inter victory, then the Nerazzurri would make an extra €9.5M for the round of 16. If you add everything up, including gate receipts for the home game in the last 16 if Inter go through, Inter will play for at least €20M against PSV.”
