With Ivan Perisic destined to leave at the end of the season, as a precaution, Inter have blocked Rodrigo De Paul for the 2019-2020 campaign. As reported by Tuttosport, the Argentinian will be able to cover many roles in the attack: his versatility will allow Inter to use him either in the midfield or out wide, in various tactical formations.
There was also talk of an agreement reached between both parties for around €35M. An important figure, roughly about the same number (€34M) that Inter will be required to spend in order to keep Keita Balde permanently. The Senegalese, after a slow start, came on the scene in December, pushing Perisic to the bench for a few matches until getting hurt mid-January.
De Paul, Keita, or both? Next few months will determine this question. Inter are waiting to see how much they can get from selling Perisic and other market moves.
