Is Rodrigo De Paul inching away from Inter? Perhaps not but it is now heavily complicated by FIGC’s decision on buy-back option. As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, “Inter have a deal in line similar to what they did last summer to sign Nainggolan, by including a couple of young players to reduce the overall value and guarantee a share of capital gains before June 30th (Inter must collect between €30M-€40M). Inter still want to keep control of these talents, something that is no longer possible after the last Federal Council meeting.”
This does not mean that De Paul to Inter operation is completely done and dusted. It is up to both sides to come up with new conditions for the agreement.
