Tuttosport explains that “Skriniar is only making 1.2 million euros a season until 2022. Inter would like to reward him by raising it to 2.5 million but the agent is demanding 3.5. The distance is there but the current duration of the agreement and the absence of any release clause put Inter at ease for a bit even if Skriniar is undoubtedly the player with most requests.”

Padelli (2020) and Ranocchia (waiting for a call) are easier agreements for Inter to reach.
