Who said that you need an agent to renew your contract and get a pay increase? Milan Skriniar has managed to achieve both without having an agent after parting ways with Karol Csonto, his long time agent.
Inter offered €3M plus bonuses to increase over the years to reach almost €4M on the last year of the new contract. In recent days, the parties were able to finalize the details and the base wage for Skriniar will be higher. Since there are no commissions and fees for the agents, the defender will directly collect them. In practice, he will receive around €3.5M per season which could reach as high as €4M on the last year of contract.
This is a nice increase to recognize Skriniar’s high quality performances of the last two years. Since the very first game for Inter after coming from Sampdoria, the Slovakian has proven to be a top class player and now he is getting reward for his work.
Official announcement will arrive by the end of the season as he is solving the last remaining issues with his old agents. And then, the agreement between Inter and Skriniar will be official.
