In Italy, the first solution to combat difficulties is often training camp (meaning the players sleep at training facilities and do not go home). Not because it is some sort of magical formula but being together helps to restart again, to analyze more deeply the negative period that Inter are going through.
Yesterday, Inter closed its sports center away from everything and everyone. In this fort, there was the first official greeting between the new Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta and the team. The first day in Appiano for the former Juventus executive started in the evening when he arrived together with president Steven Zhang and the other CEO Alessandro Antonello just before 8:00 pm to dine with the team and technical staff. Marotta greeted the players one by one and gave a quick speech: few words to make them understand that he is available to this group and that all together they can overcome difficulties.
And tomorrow (Saturday), Marotta is ready to make his debut at the San Siro which will respond with the usual enthusiasm that it has shown in this first part of the season. It is expected that 55 thousand fans will attend the 6:00 pm match against Udinese. Inter must restart immediately because the best medicine is to get back on the pitch and fight.
