According to the Corriere dello Sport, for the next season, we will probably see an entirely new group of wingers at Inter. In this current squad, the only player that will certainly stay is Matteo Politano. Candreva and Perisic will leave while Keita and Karamoh have uncertain future.
Perisic continues to think about the Premier League and Candreva could finally accept to do a loan deal. Keita’s redemption is costly and thus it must be re-evaluated. Karamoh is not considered “ready” and so another year on loan for the Frenchman is likely or maybe he could be used as a pawn to do other operations.
The list of eligible candidates is very long. The Roman newspaper believes that the favorite continues to Lille winger Nicolas Pepe, someone that Inter appreciate strongly. The Nerazzurri would love to offer Karamoh to Lille to lower the demand of €60M for Pepe on whom there is also Bayern Munich.
Second target is PSV winger Bergwijn. The Corriere dello Sport reports that there have already been two meetings with his agent Van Kooperen. The newest entry is Ajax winger Ziyech whose performances in this year’s Champions League are not going unnoticed. Confirmation is there and that he is ready to make a big leap in his career.
Over the next few weeks, Inter management will evaluate costs and overall needs at the club. Once that is done, they will narrow down to concrete targets to attack. One thing is certain: next year’s Inter will be very different.
