A 19-year-old’s, one of the protagonists of U19 European Championship, future is divided between Inter and Juventus.
Francisco Trincao, Portuguese forward, is going to be the first duel between Inter with its new CEO Giuseppe Marotta and Juventus. The Bianconeri approached him last summer, trying to exploit the good relationship that they have with super-agent Jorge Mendes. And now, at Inter, Marotta wants to play his own cards to win the signature of the Braga B player and bring him to the city of Milan.
“Trincao, who will turn 19 on December 29th and is liked by many big European clubs including Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, came on the scene at the U19 European Championship in Finland in July when he managed to bring his Portugal to the very top by scoring five goals in as many games.
“Raised in Vianense, he spent a year with FC Porto but Braga is where he has had the most success and visibility (in their B team). At 184 cm tall, he does not have a massive physique but in the midst of opposing defenders, he knows how to make the most out of it. A winger that can play both on the left and right although left is his favorite foot and speed is one of his biggest abilities. Very versatile and very young: that’s why Juventus and now Inter are ready to invest in him.”
