The hunt to get a new right back continues and Inter are making a decisive push towards Danilo. The Brazilian fullback of Manchester City has already found agreement with the Nerazzurri: what lacking right now is an understanding with the English club. Manchester City are not raising up any wall protecting its player but they are not giving him away for cheap either.
Arriving in the Premier League in 2017 from Real Madrid, Danilo has a contract until 2022 and makes €4.5M per season. In order for him to join the club of Suning, he is willing to lower wage demand, settling for €3.5M for three years.
At this point, as stated above, an agreement with City is needed: Inter have presented an offer of €15M plus bonuses, a figure that is very close to the €17.5M needed to redeem Vrsaljko at the end of the season. Danilo’s value is between €20M-€25M and it is possible that Inter will raise its offer in the future.
The final decision will come at the end of the season when Inter will know if they will be participating in the Champions League next season.
