Piero Ausilio is linked to Inter until June 30th 2020 but he would not want to start next season in an expiring contract. This scenario doesn’t really enthuse the club either as Inter want to open a new cycle and making a change in management could have a negative affect. And this is why both sides have agreed to continue together. According to FCIN, on the table, there is a new contract until at least 2021 (if not even 2022, which is in line with Marotta’s contract).

In the meantime, Ausilio has had multiple inquiries not only within Italy but also abroad, particularly Arsenal and Monaco. His work is greatly appreciated and taken strongly into consideration in Europe but Ausilio has always been clear to those that are interested in him: his priority is and will remain Inter.
