Nicolas Pepe’s growth did not go unnoticed at Inter which have put him even above Steven Bergwijn on the list of desirables. But that being said, the mission to bring him to Appiano Gentile will not be a simple one.
On one hand, Lille are already giving him an insane evaluation of €70M while on the other, the market is going to be packed with competition especially Bayern Munich. But at least Inter are moving with the intention of seeing this negotiation through to the end.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, “Inter are working to at least get Pepe’s preference. Marotta and Ausilio have already moved towards this direction and at this point, it will also be easier to sit down with Lille. One of the many topics of conversation between these club could be Karamoh. The French is having a season of ups and downs on loan at Bordeaux but he is only 21 years old and still has a lot of room to row. At the same age, Pepe was in Ligue 2 with Orleans.”
