The hesitation of Chelsea could bring Napoli and Inter back in the race for Nicolo Barella. The Cagliari midfielder, according to La Nuova Sardegna, is a transfer target for both the Neapolitans and Nerazzurri, with the former stepping forward several times, constantly increasing their offer.
Napoli started with 20 million plus Ounas and Rog and then 25 plus the same two players. Both were rejected but Aurelio did not give up and his third offer was 40 million plus Ounas: Cagliari president Tommaso is considering this offer.
The best proposal came from Chelsea (50 million in cash for Barella) but the English club has not really shown much conviction to close the deal. Inter? They could soon come forward again after having their first offer of 30 million plus Eder (Jiangsu Suning would give Cagliari as part of this negotiation) rejected. Inter seem willing to increase the offer and in the coming days they will return to Giulini with a new and improved bid. Cagliari are firm and will not make any discount on their biggest talent.
