The Gazzetta dello Sport gives us new name for the Inter attack: Pablo Sarabia, 26-year-old winger of Sevilla.
“He is playing very regularly and often very well but he is making very little money. Or at least that’s what he thinks. And he also has a very affordable release clause. And since his contract expires next season with Sevilla, he has been looking around for a new club and has found a lot of interest.
“Sarabia is about to turn 27 years old (May 11) and this season he has 22 goals: a massive number for a winger who plays with Ben Yedder (29 goals), Andre Silva (11) and Munir (6). To these teammates, he also offers another 17 assists. All of that and he has a release clause of just €18M which is extremely attractive based on the current market. And above all, Sarabia is only earning €1.5M net per season and he would like to double it. Inter meanwhile are willing to offer him exactly that for four seasons.”
The pink newspaper of Milan reports that contacts are already there and the feeling of interest is mutual. However, Inter aren’t the only one as there are another Italian club, a foreign one and Valencia. There was also talk of Atletico Madrid but this lead seems to have cooled down a bit.
