On Monday night a very young player will be taking the San Siro pitch for the first time. We are talking about Emanuel Vignato who is the only positive in this final part of the season for Chievo where the 2000-born midfielder is taking every opportunity to show off his abilities at high level.
There are few doubts about his value as well as his destiny because Vignato will be one of the protagonists in the upcoming summer transfer window. And perhaps he is not alone. Because while Emanuel continues to impress in Serie A, there is another Vignato who is dominating the U-15 team of Chievo. We are talking about Samuele Vignato, born in 2004, who is scoring at a high rate not only for his club but also in the Italian national team of Patrizia Panico.
Inter tried to negotiate for both in January but Chievo resisted the temptation of cashing in on the two brothers. They were also convinced that Emanuel would have a great second half of the season and they were right. The midfielder has played seven games in Serie A this season and has one goal, a beautiful one at that at the Olimpico against Lazio.
The 18-year-old has shown that he does not suffer from the pressure playing in major stadium and this is why he will try to confirm it once more at the San Siro on Monday night. Earlier this year, Bologna offered €5M for the 18-year-old midfielder: this figure has doubled nowadays only for one player, let alone two.
