Joao Mario’s future appears to be far away from Milan next season. The Portuguese has a difficult time maintaining high level of performances and as a result he is spending more time on the bench than the pitch in the last two-three months. Certainly, the tragic news of his father’s passing has influenced the overall morale. That being said, the number 6 of Inter still boasts several admirers around Europe including Monaco.
According to FCIN, the first round of contacts already happened for the former Sporting player but it is still too premature to talk about a real negotiation. The reason is because Joao Mario has not yet chosen an agent after leaving Kia Joorabchian who assisted him in the last transfers to Inter and also to West Ham.
Starting July 1st, the Portuguese midfielder will weigh around €18M on Inter budget. An important figure but is still within reach of international clubs: Monaco but also Premier League clubs are possible destinations.
