The arrival of Diego Godin could help Inter convince other free agents to join. After all, this is the expertise of Giuseppe Marotta who signed Pirlo, Emre Can, Pogba, Khedira and Dani Alves at Juventus. After the Uruguayan defender, Inter could be looking at Manchester United for three potential out of contract players.

Matteo Darmian has only played four Premier League games this season. He is currently making €1.8M and is ready to return to Italy. The Red Devils can exercise the clause for another season but it is difficult to see them do it because Darmian is even behind Young and Valencia (both also have expiring contract). Inter are also interested in the Ecuadorian (same with Young) and Manchester United also have the same option to active the extension clause.
