Gabriel Barbosa is returning to Appiano Gentile in January but the question has always been the same: for how long?

The Brazilian striker managed to get back to his best with Santos, winning the goalscoring title in his league. Inter loved it of course, especially for the transfer market. Things may change in the future, you never know, but as of right now, he is not part of Inter technical project. Offers are starting to pour in, especially from Brazil.

Inter have been very clear to those who are interested in Barbosa: the offer must be at least €20M  but in case of a loan, another European try is preferable compared to a South American one. Meanwhile, agent Wagner Ribeiro is open to any scenario.

“Everything is possible,” he said to Globoesporte. One Brazilian club that stands out of the pack is Flamengo. In order for them to get Gabriel Barbosa, or even Miranda, they are willing to sacrifice the great talent of Lincoln who is only 18 years old. It will be difficult for Inter to say no in this case even if they cannot pocket another non-EU in their roster. So the idea is to “sign” Lincoln in January and then bring him here in July. Everything is in progress but it will certainly be hotter when the calendar turns to 2019.
