Inter are looking for a new left back, perhaps one to back up Kwadwo Asamoah for next season. According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri have targeted Atalanta defender Robin Gosens. He was scouted several times by Piero Ausilio and is deemed as the right player to replace Dalbert.
“Ausilio was spotted in the stands together with his assistant Baccin two occasions to watch Atalanta-Fiorentina in Serie A on March 3rd and Coppa Italia on April 25th. Gosens has improved a lot compared to last year when he arrived for only 700 thousand euros. This year, the player has played 32 total matches, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists. He has a very affordable price tag of only €10M and there are two factors favoring his landing at Inter. The first is that he is managed by SEG agency, the same agency that takes care of De Vrij’s interest. The second is the excellent relationship between the Zhang family and Percassi who were invited to Nanjing by Suning boss.”
In short, there is everything for Inter to close this operation… if they really want to.
