Mauro Icardi is expected to return training with the team tomorrow but in reality, regarding his future, the Argentinian is unlikely to stay at Inter. If he does indeed leave the club this summer, the Nerazzurri would need to find another striker for short and long term future.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, it is confirmed that Inter are very interested in Dzeko who would rather stay in Italy instead of going to England where he has many admirers. The Bosnian shares the same agent as Padelli, Inter goalkeeper, who will soon speak with Ausilio about a new contract. Maybe that will be good chance for both sides to talk about Edin who is valued by Pallotta to be between €25M-€30M (for a 33-year-old and with one year left in contract???).
Any alternatives to Dzeko? Werner seems destined to join Bayern Munich and Lukaku, if Icardi doesn’t accept joining Manchester, seems to be economically unreachable. Other names are Benzema, Rodrigo of Valencia and Jovic of Eintracht.
