Inter will go through many changes this summer both on and off the pitch. With the appointment of Giuseppe Marotta as CEO last December, many figures in management have or at least are on their way to renew contract. But that’s not all.
The most important sign of change will be the involvement of an executive appointed to act as a link between the coach and the team, this sort of disconnect was seen clearly in the case of Mauro Icardi.
The chosen one for this position is Gabriele Oriali who already was wanted by Ausilio (who will renew contract) in spring of 2017. With this change, Ausilio will mainly deal with scouting and the transfer market and Oriali will build the relationship between the new coach and the team thanks to his experience and respect that he has earned over the years of working in football.
