“We must find a formula because it is owned by the city, with a very long-term concession. It is clear that we cannot lose the ownership of the stadium.”

These are the words of Milan mayor Giuseppe Sala regarding the new possible new stadium for Inter and Milan.

“Inter and Milan are making this evaluation based on an economic and financial point of view: the new stadium will cost about €500M-€600M and I believe they are also evaluating the cost of renovating the current building. There is only one constraint and that is we cannot lose the stadium. Frankly, I cannot say what solution is going to happen but I am inviting them to submit a proposal.”
