“Do you want Icardi? Then give us Kean…”

Inter are not intended to get caught by the throat by Juventus which have been on Mauro Icardi for quite some time. It is no mystery that the Argentinian’s representatives already have an offer from the Old Lady for a five-year contract worth €8M net per season.

Juventus are very serious on Icardi but Inter want at least €80M for the number 9, someone that has a release clause of €110M but at the moment it appears that no foreign club is wiling to pay that kind of money. The first offer from Turin was an exchange with Gonzalo Higuain, who will return from Chelsea, plus cash. This proposal does not tickle Inter interest because the Nerazzurri would be more interested in Dybala plus cash. But Juventus have different idea: if they want Dybala, the deal must be Icardi plus money and not the other way around.

The two sides seem stuck at this point. And this is where Mino Raiola comes in.

The agent is very skilled at exploiting the situation to shake the waters of the market. He is the agent of Moise Kean who has an expiring contract in 2020. If there is no new contract and if Juventus are unable to guarantee Kean minutes, Raiola will offer his client to Inter just to see what will happen.

This move is for the sole purpose of pushing Juventus to offer a new contract until 2024 with a wage increase to at least €2.5M. This move is also convenient for Inter, intending to unmask Wanda’s bluff (“He wants to stay here for 150 years”) by letting Juventus to come out in the open with an important offer: if you want Icardi then you have to negotiate with us and satisfy our demand.

This soap opera is just getting started…
