Earlier today, Calciomercato reported that there was a phone call between Inter vice president Javier Zanetti and Juventus boss Andrea Agnelli about Mauro Icardi who is going through the most difficult and possibly the worst moment in his 5-6 years at Inter.

However, the Corriere dello Sport confirmed the call but that conversation was not about the Argentinian striker (they talked about possible participation in the Partita del Cuore match, a sporting event that happens every year). Although it is inevitable that Mauro Icardi will be in the center of many transfer market rumors until there is a new contract.

Besides Juventus, the big contender for Icardi’s signature is Chelsea of Abramovich. According to The Sun, the Blues boss is ready to satisfy the request of Zinedine Zidane who is ready to replace Mauricio Sarri as the former coach of Napoli has not had much success in the Premier League.
