Juventus insist for Mauro Icardi. The Argentinian bomber is on the top of Paratici’s wishlist to reinforce the Juventus attack. The pressing from Turin is becoming more and more intense over the last few weeks but Inter only want cash: it will take €80M to sign the number 9 striker of the Nerazzurri.
On the table for Mauro, according to FCIN, is a five-year deal worth €8M plus bonuses from the Old Lady. Exchanging with Dybala? Unlikely for two reasons: Inter simply want to monetize Icardi’s sale and the valuations of two players are not matched. The Bianconeri would like Icardi plus €20M from Inter for Il Joya and this is something that Inter will not do.
After having discarded the option of Higuain and Dybala, Juventus sent Inter a new name to do the exchange: Douglas Costa.
Inter will at least reflect on this latest offer because they do indeed like the Brazilian winger. But chances are, Suning’s position will not change: the aim remains to monetize the former captain.
In case of a departure, Icardi would like to stay in Italy where the only contender is Juventus. This intrigue will continue…
