According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Sime Vrsaljko has decided when and where to have knee surgery: the Croatian defender, who came to Inter on loan from Atletico Madrid last summer, will have an operation next week either on Tuesday or Wednesday, in Antwerp, Belgium.
His knee has been haunting him since World Cup last summer in Russia, especially when it relapsed during Nations League commitment with the national team back in September 11th specifically in the game against Spain. The 27-year-old will be operated by Professor Lagae and after the surgery, he will start rehabilitation in Antwerp. Sime, now on leave in Croatia, will then go back to Madrid.
The future at Inter is already written: it is impossible to think that Inter will want to pay another €17.5M in June for his redemption, after the €6.5M paid for the loan. It is just unfortunate that Sime has had too many injuries: only 13 games played for a total of 912 minutes
