According to French sources, Marseille and Monaco have returned in the big way for Dalbert. Yes, their interest is confirmed by FCIN: both wanted him last summer and are willing to try again already next month
But to date, there is no real possibility that the Brazilian fullback is going to leave Inter. In fact, the Nerazzurri do not want to sell him who does not intend to leave. The reasons are easily understood: Inter only have two players in that role (possibly three if we also consider D’Ambrosio).
Asamoah has played the most obviously but when Spalletti called on Dalbert, he always replied, showing his qualities shown in the shirt of Nice. Defensively and tactically, Dalbert has improved significantly compared to his first year at Inter.
Spalletti appreciates him, convinced that the Brazilian, when he is back from injury, will play an important part for the rest of the season. Dalbert, on the other hand, feels that his hard work in training is paying off, he is improved.
If we add the considerations above to the fact that Marseille and Monaco are only offering loan with option to buy, Dalbert’s farewell is not feasible under these conditions. Only a major offer in this case can convince Inter but this scenario does not exist. The will of Dalbert is to stay and that of Inter is to hold on to him.
