Inter have struck an arrow on Loris Benito’s back. The 27-year-old fullback of Young Boys will leave the Swiss side in June on a free transfer and he is liked by half of Serie A and various foreign teams. According to FCIN, the agents of the player met with Inter executives yesterday at Tabloid di Milano, a restaurant in the Central Station area, to understand the current situation of the player.
The idea of Inter is to put Benito under contract, have him at training camp in the summer and based on the results obtained, Inter will either leave him with the first team or, more likely, send him on loan to other clubs in Italy like Sassuolo, Empoli or Parma. We are still only at the first phase of negotiation but strong groundwork has already been done. There is willingness to negotiate and find the solution most pleasing to everyone as both Inter and the player’s representatives will hear from each other in the coming days.
