After failing to buy a central defender last summer, Manchester United will return strongly for Kalidou Koulibaly and Milan Skriniar, both already requested by their former coach Jose Mourinho. The arrival of a central defender to reinforce the squad is the top priority of the Red Devils for the summer.
According to Manchester Evening News, for Skriniar, Inter demanded a figure higher than that of Virgil van Dijk, signed by Liverpool a few years ago and is the most expensive defender in history. The Slovakian has not renewed contract which ends in 2022, but he has repeatedly expressed the desire to continue with the black and blue colors.
