This summer, Mauro Icardi’s €110M release clause will be activated once again from the 1st to the 15th of July. But in reality, if Mauro decided to stay out for the entire season because he does not want to apologize to his teammates, it will be very complicated for foreign clubs to pay the clause and pour in the money (also because Icardi is also dealing with a “knee issue”).

If they are interested, they will surely ask for a substantial discount from mid-July and onwards. And if there is still no peace between the club, the players and Icardi, Inter will be forced to buy another striker.
