The Corriere dello Sport is back to talk about the strong interest of Inter for Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella.
“Inter have a special ally in the race for Barella and the man who could unlock this move to the Nerazzurri is Radja Nainggolan who joined the Milanese club last summer. The two have a lot in common, starting with having the same agent in Alessandro Beltrami, but above all, they have worn the shirt of Cagliari. And it could just be Nainggolan serving as an element of Inter management to convince Barella to transfer to the city of Milan. The biggest obstacle is certainly his club itself as president Tommaso Giulini evaluates the Italian to worth over €40M, a request considered excessive by the Chinese ownership of Inter.
“The good relationship between Barella’s agent and sports director Piero Ausilio suggests that from the contractual point of view, there should not be any hitches while for his transfer fee, there will still be a lot of work between the two clubs.”
