One of the many players that Inter are monitoring for next season is Nicolas Pépé of Lille. The young French striker is completing a fantastic season scoring 20 goals in 36 appearances and as a result he is attracting attention from many big clubs. In addition to Inter, it seems that Manchester United are willing to put on the table the sum demanded by the French club and that is €70M.

But in the meantime, Pépé is waiting to receive offers from Spain. In fact, according to L’Equipe, the player believes that the Spanish league is the most suitable for his attributes and characteristics. But for the moment, no one from Spain is stepping up to invest that kind of money. Barcelona at one point did ask for information but nothing has happened since. Real Madrid and Atletico are not interested.

So in the end, Inter remain. The Nerazzurri are also ready to make a big offer to Lille and with the Champions League (almost) Inter would offer Pépé the chance to play regularly on the biggest stage in Europe and of course Serie A.
