Diego Godin is going to complete an Inter wall of dream. Starting this July, the Uruguayan will become a new reinforcement for the Nerazzurri after a long back and forth with his club that did not provide any positive outcome. Atletico Madrid’s policy is to only renew players who are over 30 years old one year at a time and Godin wanted at least a two-year contract.
For a few weeks now, the widespread reports suggested that Inter offered him a two-year deal, option for an extra year. However, Alfredo Pedulla tweeted moments ago that the option for a third year has disappeared and that it will be a fixed three-year contract until 2022.
