While yesterday Cedric Soares became officially a new Inter player who is now working ahead of Coppa Italia clash against Lazio, Sime Vrsaljko already has his suitcases packed and ready to go.

The Corriere dello Sport reports that “Sime Vrsaljko will make room for Soares on the 25-player list given to the league. Yesterday morning, the Croatian already met with his teammates to say goodbye. He has decided to go with the knee surgery, pending approval from Atletico Madrid. This stop is likely to take about 6-8 months and Inter will continue to pay him until the end of the season but of course that they will no longer be able to count on him as Sime Vrsaljko will also be taken out of UEFA list.”
