Sime Vrsaljko will have surgery to permanently fix the lingering issue that his knee has had since the World Cup. The knee injury has been bothering the Croatian so much that Inter were forced to act by signing Cedric Soares until the end of the season.

To confirm this new is Croatian national team doctor Boris Nemec who said that “I cannot say when Sime will return to the pitch, only those that work on his knee will know exactly what the condition is and how long it will take for him to get back to playing football. It is essential that the player to be patient and Sime must work with perseverance, determination and physical predisposition. We all want the operation to be perfect, as well as the process of recovery: we cannot wait to have him again in the national team.”
