With the arrival of Diego Godin and that (possible) of Danilo, Inter defense for next season seems to have finalized. The only doubt, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, is related to Dalbert’s future.
“The renewal of Milan Skriniar is a done deal, only signatures are missing but there is an agreement. Despite the fact that the Slovakian defender has the most interest on the transfer market, Marotta and Auslio want to restart with him and his defending partner De Vrij. Adding to these two great players will be a football monument in Diego Godin who will not only bring to Inter on the pitch performances but also international experience and winning mentality. They are three starters next season but in case of a four-man defense they will alternate, taking turn to be on the pitch.”
Miranda is leaving and so the fourth center back will be Ranocchia. But as previously mentioned, if it is a three-man defense next season, then a fifth could be added: probably youngster Bastoni who is returning on loan from Parma.
D’Ambrosio and Asamoah are confirmed for next year while Cedric will not be redeemed. On the right side, a starting right back will arrive and everything suggests that it will be Danilo. On the left, Dalbert is in doubt: if an offer arrives and does not cause capital loss, he will be sold and then Inter can return to the transfer market to find a vice-Asamoah.
