Luciano Spalletti wants to close his Inter chapter in the best possible way. To do so, the Tuscan coach has two goals in mind: to reach the Champions League and to do it with third place finish.
Achieving Champions League for second straight year and also improving on its position in the Serie A table would be a great accomplishment for Spalletti. Before his arrival, Inter struggled for years trying to get into the top four in Serie A (before it was top three).
Whoever is going to be his successor will have the task of improving the team’s overall quality, getting the fans more convincing performances not only in Serie A but also in Cup competitions and then eventually winning Inter a trophy that has been missing since 2011 (Coppa Italia, Leonardo).
