Here is the statement issued by FC Internazionale Milano regarding the events that happened yesterday.

“In relation to the events that took place during yesterday’s Inter-Napoli match and the consequent decision taken by Lega Naizonale di Serie A, the club reiterates that since March 9 1908, Inter signify integration, welcome and future. The history of Milan is this, of inclusion and of respect.

“Inter are present in 29 countries in the world, from Cambodia to Colombia, where over ten thousand children are involved in the Inter Campus project which aims to restore their right to play in such delicate situation. This activity, its importance, has been recognized also by the UN. Since that night of 110 years ago, our founders put their signature on our path and we have said no to any from of discrimination ever since then. For this reason, we feel obliged today, once again, to affirm that whoever does not understand and accept our history, this history, is not one of us.”
