Inter and Antonio Conte are getting closer and closer. At the end of the season, Luciano Spalletti will end his Inter adventure and the former Chelsea coach will take his spot on the bench.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio on Sky Sport, “Antonio Conte and Inter have an agreement which will be formalized at the right time. It could be a four-year deal instead of three-year. The method and idea of Marotta have convinced ownership to make this massive economic sacrifice. Sacking Spalletti will cost Inter around €30M and so this investment is similar to signing a great player that costs €100M. Inter are not his second choice (many believed that he waited for Juve) but before saying yes, he just wanted to understand the broader picture of this team. Inter are the club that shows him the most attractive and fascinating future programs.”
