“Edin Dzeko will have 60 thousand pairs of eyes on him for two particular reasons: the Bosnian will be the number one danger for Milan Skriniar and Stefan De Vrij and also because the fans could be looking at Mauro Icardi’s heir as the Argentinian is expected to leave at the end of the season.”
Italian media continues to link Dzeko to a move to Inter this summer, seeing him “as a perfect player for Marotta: he is a great player, has a lot of experience and has won a lot in his career. At Inter, he would be able to bring a winning mentality which is lacking in the Inter dressing room (last trophy was the Coppa Italia won on May 2011). Not only that, Dzeko’s arrival would bring another advantage: he will not hinder Lautaro Martinez’s growth. Il Toro is going to start next year with Dzeko as his teacher. Both can certainly co-exist.”
The cost of Dzeko? Inter believe that they can get him from Roma by paying at most between €10M-€12M.
