This is one of the top priorities at Inter and they have to make decisions by June 30th and the names at stake are many: Matteo Politano, Keita Balde, Sime Vrsaljko and Cedric Soares.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, “Politano, at this very moment, seems to be the only certainty that will stay at Inter because his on the pitch performances are confirming this scenario. Spalletti trusts him and has always used the Italian winger in all competitions: 43 appearances and 5 goals, but above all, so much running, dribbling, creating scoring chances also on set pieces. Therefore, redeeming him from Sassuolo for €20M is only a formality.
“On the other hand, the redemption of Keita is completely up in the air. To do so, Inter must pay Monaco €34M, massive figure despite the common desire from both sides to continue together. It will be crucial to sit down at a table with the French club to review the margins of this operation: Inter would like to pay somewhere between €20M-€25M. Do not rule out another season on loan in this case.
“The possibility of redeeming Vrsaljko, who had several physical problems during the season due to the after-effects of a knee injury occurred with Croatia at the World Cup in Russia, is practically non-existent. To keep him, Inter would have to pay €17.5M, simply too many. Regarding Cedric who arrived on loan in January, the Nerazzurri adventure for him seems to be at the end.”
